Stretch Fabrics are Wonderful in Spandex Long Sleeve Shirts

For many people there is a special affinity for spandex.  This material allows for a tight fitting garment that supports and holds better than any other material out there which is worn on a regular basis.  Because of that this is a pretty popular fabric especially with the sporting community and for those that really like to dress in layers. 

The spandex long sleeve shirts that you can wear when you are going for either one of these two options are varied and diverse but the one thing that is not up for debate is that you will never have any such thing as a loose spandex shirt.  They don’t exist.  So if you don’t like clothes that are tight, you should not select spandex.

If you have gone into the local gym or watched as some people job or skateboard by you in the winter there is a very good chance that they were wearing a spandex outfit including one of the many spandex long sleeve shirts they probably own.  There are many athletes who swear by spandex.  Everything they own is spandex from the bicycle shorts to the short sleeve shirts to the long sleeve variation of the same sort.  This is true for both women and men, both like them and both wear them all the time.

For the most part almost any spandex long sleeve shirts will not have collars.  The nature of spandex makes it very difficult to have a shirt that has a collar so don’t look for that type.  Some will have necklines that come up the neck almost like a mock or classic turtleneck and some have necks like a blouse, a scoop neckline.  No matter what there are a few different types of collars that you can get for these shirts. The arms are almost tight, trim and come down right to the wrist line in most cases.  You can also get these with short lengths such as to the belly or longer to the waist.  You can also get them long enough to tuck in.

Since these are worn for athletics more than anything else spandex long sleeve shirts come in the normal gym wear colors which means just about any color and design you might want.  For those that wear them for going out (usually the mock collar style) you have many selections of colors as well but for the most part (since they are worn as the first of at least two layers in most cases) they are plain, solid colors. 

Spandex long sleeve shirts are available anywhere sporting goods are sold.  In addition they are available in some department stores.  They are also in discount stores and at gyms in some cases.  They are also available on line and a quick search of the internet will help you in your search for these shirts.  The prices might vary but if you go on line and do some comparison shopping you will probably find them the cheapest on the internet.
