Compared to standard cotton, pima cotton shirts are quite expensive.  Depending upon the desired thread count, the price may be too high for the average person in the market for a cotton shirt.  However, since there are so many different thread counts available, these shirts fit within any budget, thus creating a very comfortable yet luxurious appearance for anyone.   If the right color and thread count are chosen, they can be a practical addition to any wardrobe.
