Order Bowling Shirts
There are many ways to order bowling shirts and many reasons for doing so. One way to buy them is to go to a bowling apparel outlet. These stores will sell the shirts along with other accessories like towels, pants, hats, socks, and wrist bands. They normally stock a wide variety of colors, styles and sizes to accommodate most bowlers. It is important to try on all the clothing before making your decision and move around in it as well. The shirt might fit fine for going to dinner, but not necessarily bowling in. Pants should be tried on as well for the same reasons.
Another way to order bowling shirts is from a wholesaler. Wholesale prices are the lowest because they are closest to the manufacturer and, therefore, not subject to as many mark ups along the distribution chain. The down side is that wholesalers also want volume sales. They keep their prices down by shipping large orders. To get the wholesaler’s best price you need as large an order as you can get. Try to get as many people on your order as possible. Contact the league president and the presidents from other leagues. You may also want to talk to the bowling alley owner to help you coordinate with the different leagues.
When you order bowling shirts, be sure to double check your list for accuracy. Check for sizes, colors and styles to make sure you order to make sure you have enough of each. It might be a good idea to have each bowler sign off or initial the final list agreeing that everything was accurate. Another tip might be to get all of the money up front. Returns of unpaid items might be costly and inconvenient. It also might cost you your relationship with that vendor, or worse, stick you with a large bill. No vendor wants to do business with someone who does not pay on time.
Before you order bowling shirts, make sure you check out different styles and colors as options. The selection has grown over the years and is not limited to a few colors and one classic style anymore. There are a rainbow of colors from neons to pastels and from stripes to polka dots. You can spice up the look of the whole league through variety. Not all shirts have to be the classic collared button down. Now many are tee shirt and polo styled as well. Talk with all bowlers involved and get as many of each kind as possible to bulk up your order.
When you order bowling shirts, remember that they are usually printed on as well. Some shirts are even embroidered. If you can find a wholesaler who also does the printing you can leverage those services to possibly get a better price. If the wholesaler does not offer those services you will need to find another printer. If coordinated properly, you can have the shirts shipped directly from the wholesaler to the printer. This will save time and money.
