Long Sleeve Tee Shirts for Cooler Months

For some people the only shirt that they like to wear is the tee shirt.  This is all well and good when it’s nice out but not so much when it starts to get colder. That is unless you're like so many others and have found that long sleeve tee shirts are a great idea for the cooler months.  The shirt is built the same way as the short sleeve variety except it has the longer sleeves.  If you like the variety and feel of tee shirts you will like these as well.  The easy care, comfortable fit and good soft breathing of the fabric makes these as popular as the short sleeve cousin.

Long sleeve tee shirts are used quite often as a winter time undershirt to be worn as the first of many layers of clothes.  However they are also worn as the main shirt for those activities that require a comfortable shirt but with the ability to keep you just a bit more covered up.  The ability to use this shirt in the same ways as you can all tee shirts allows you to have that casual shirt that you can wear on the job site but also have the warmth of something just a bit warmer than the others.

When you see the variety of long sleeve tee shirts that are all around you one thing you are sure to notice is that they pretty much all look the same.  Most tee shirts are solid colored with extra stitching around the neck, cuffs that are of slightly thicker consistency and that’s about it.  The reason they are so popular is because they are so plain.  They are plain and therefore they are easy to make.  When clothes are easy to make they are cheaper, so these shirts tend to run cheaper than other dressier long sleeve shirts. 

The colors of long sleeve tee shirts are as varied as any other solid color spectrum of colors.  The most common are of course white, blue, black and gray.  There are so many others though including green, brown, yellow and tan.  Of course this is not all the colors and there are some patterns out there that you can have as well but that is not the norm for these types of shirts.  These are used as knock around shirts and they are normally used to make a fashion statement.  This is why not many patterns, designs or style alterations are available for them.

Like most shirts you can find these in a lot of different stores.  Because they are so cheap you can find them in discount stores, sporting goods stores, department stores and of course online.  Long sleeve tee shirts are readily available in any of these places.  You might be surprised how different the prices are depending on the location that you go to.  There are many different ranges of price that you will find so make sure you are aware of all the differences when you get ready to go out and make your purchase.
