A Long Standing Favorite in Long Sleeve Shirts with Pocket

There are different types of shirts that give different types of impressions.  For the most part long sleeve shirts are worn when you are in a professional atmosphere and usually under a suit or as part of a business casual outfit.  Sometimes they are made a little more casual when they add pockets to the shirt.  Long sleeve shirts with pocket designs are often still used for business but by the nature of the pockets they are a little less formal.  For instance very rarely will you see shirts with pockets under a suit and if you do you will notice how out of place it looks.  Pockets take away from a formal look but are just fine for outfits that do not have suit jackets.

If you are talking about women that were shirts it is even more rare that you will find a women that comfortably wears long sleeve shirts with pocket styles.  Because of the female body pockets look very out of place in the chest area.  There are some that will still wear them especially if they are trying for the casual preppy look but in most cases you will find that most women are uncomfortable with the final look of any shirt that has pockets in them.  This type of shirt is not a very popular one amongst female buyers.  Remember, women buy most of the clothes so catering to what they like is important.

Men on the other hand will wear these as stated earlier and especially when the situation is casual.  Pockets are never actually used in these shirts (unless for a pen and even then it takes away from the shirt itself).  But for the most part long sleeve shirts with pocket attachments are still considered a very popular style shirt and a staple in many men’s closets.  These shirts are versatile in design and style and can add a lot to the options you would have when selecting your outfits for a given activity.

Many men prefer long sleeve shirts with pocket styles when they are looking for knock around shirts that are dressier than polo shirts or tee shirts.  In many cases they will be cotton or cotton blend and the color and design options are so vast that you can basically find whatever you want as long as you look for it.  The predominant style is solid colors but the variation of colors available allow for the diversity of wardrobe options.  In addition long sleeve shirts can have collars or mock collars.  Since you have pockets you will always have some type of collar as well.

These types of shirts are available wherever men’s clothes are sold.  You might also find a limited selection where women’s clothes are sold but not nearly as vast.  You will also be able to find them online like just about everything else these days.  Between the stores and the internet you should be able to get what you want at the price you can afford.
