Find Your Unique Side with Fashion Apparel

Most people use the terms designer and fashion interchangeably and they are interchangeable.  Both of them mean the clothes that are designed by designers and others to put out the latest clothing or fashion statements.  Designers are the inventors of our current fashions.  So fashion apparel would be the result of the designs that are first drawn out by those brilliant people who come up with the newest and greatest clothes for the following year or the following season.  In fact, fashion usually goes by season not by year and right now if you were to look you would see that the winter 2009 and spring 2010 are the designs being shown to potential buyers.

For most of us there is little to no new designer clothes in our wardrobes.  In some cases it is because we don’t have the money, in other cases it’s because we don’t know what it is and lastly some of us just don’t like the latest fashions.  However fashion apparel is a huge business and there are many people (not just celebrities) that wear these clothes and live and breathe by what the latest fashions are.  For instance, when’s the last time you saw overalls on anyone’s fashion list?  And how often do you see anyone wearing them?

The desire to keep up with the fashions of today has been known to put a lot of people into hock.  The desire to be in with the clothes we wear sometimes outweighs common sense and we spend way more money than we have on the fashion apparel we think will make us look our best.  We see something on someone at a movie preview or on the red carpet and we decide that we want to get something close to it.  So we look and look and eventually we find it and get it (and forget to pay our phone bill that month).

Not all fashion apparel is expensive.  In many cases you can find something that is close enough in style design and color that you can pull it off and still look stylish.  If you check the back of magazines (especially women’s magazines) you will see many times how to look the same while paying less as well as get an idea of where you can get this look alike design.  It is very useful and considerably cheaper than buying the real thing.

Every once in a while though the real thing is what you need and if that’s the case just be wise about it.  Not all fashion apparel is priced the same at different stores and locations.  It is pretty easy to shop around and find a cheaper price at one place of another.  So go on line, browse around a bit and take your time until you find something you like at a price you can afford.  Everyone deserves to feel good about how they look so it’s not that you shouldn’t buy something you really like, just be wise about how much you spend and know your limits.  You’ll enjoy what you wear even more.
