Embroidered Peacock

A Design to Select in an Embroidered Peacock

There are many different designs that you might choose to have stitched onto a garment or fabric item. The peacock is an ancient symbol used in many cultures around the world, and frequently depicted in artwork. There are numerous reasons why you might want to have an embroidered peacock on a personal item, as they have a great deal for symbolism and importance, and also look very attractive.

An embroidered peacock is a very lucky and attractive design to wear. They are very beautiful and majestic birds. They have amazing colorful tails which have “eyes” on them. These eyes are believed to be able to protect people from danger. Peacocks are commonly seen as a very beautiful and complex design and are highly desirable. They are frequently seen as symbols of beauty and luxury, dating back to ancient times when eating peacock was considered a very luxurious pastime. The peacock is widely known as the national bird of India. It is also considered sacred in India and China, and in Buddhism the peacock represents purity. Their feathers are often employed in ceremonies for purifying.

The peacock is believed to be a bird of protection that will safe-guard anyone who associates themselves with it. Peacocks are also commonly held as symbols of fidelity. Finding a peacock feather is believed to bring good fortune, harmony, peace, mental clarity, relaxation and protection from danger. The peacock also symbolizes regeneration. Particularly in Europe, peacocks are held to represent pride and even vanity. For these reasons, an embroidered peacock is a popular design to have stitched or affixed onto a garment or piece of fabric, particularly if you believe that wearing this garment will transfer the properties of the peacock onto you.

There are many different varieties of embroidered peacock designs available from companies which offer customized embroidery and professional embroidery services. Some are more simple. Some are highly complex and very colorful, with peacock tails that feature the “eyes” for which peacocks are well-known. Designs of peacocks frequently display them near to flowers, jewels and other beautiful and luxurious items. Some designs show them as mystical creatures, and may make use of sparkling or gold and silver threads to emphasise this.

Some designs feature only a single peacock feather, for a more simple touch, or just the peacock’s tail. Peacock designs are frequently embroidered using metallic threads. Peacock designs come in many different colors, like peacocks themselves. Some may be green with purple-blue eyes. Some may be pink and even yellow. Some may be pure white, like a rarer kind of peacock found in the wild. Some may be very dull colors, but very detailed. A peacock might be pictured at rest or in flight.

An embroidered peacock would look particularly effective on any garment that is intended to look feminine and stylish. They are sometimes embroidered onto skirts and dresses. The design would look particularly effective on dark or black fabric, or fabric that is shiny such as satin or silk. The designs can be incredibly fine and detailed.
