Embroidered Fitted Caps

Hats are coverings made to fit the head comfortably. Normally hats have a brim, and are worn outdoors. There is a wide variety of hats such as a top hat, beret, beanie, cowboy hat, and hard hat.  Some of the more common caps include baseball caps, and embroidered fitted caps. Each hat and cap comes in a variety of styles and designs to serve a variety of purposes.

Embroidered fitted caps are well shaped to fit the head exactly. Caps are very popular, and have become a fashion trend. When fitted caps have the logo of a company, event, product, or service, they become free advertising. Employees that wear caps with their company name on them, are actually advertising for free. Caps make the perfect gift for corporate events to build awareness for the company and their product or service. Most often to advertise a company's marketing day, upcoming event, or new product or service, embroidered caps are used as a promotional tool. The quality of the material, used in the cap, along with the company's logo, name, or special message, are all part of the advertising campaign. For example, the front of the cap may have the company's name, silhouette, or logo, and the back of the cap may have the website address of the company.

Charities and various fund raising organizations use embroidered fitted caps as promotional tools to advertise their charity or fund raising event. There are many items such as t-shirts, and sweatshirts that are also used, however, caps are the most popular. Caps can have a picture or a logo on the front, and a web address of the charity or organization on the back. The important thing is that again, it's free advertisement, plus the cap is a perfect fit.

Embroidered fitted caps usually have a logo embroidered on them. The logo can be on the front, left side, right side, back, or all around the cap. Manufacturers and graphic design experts all help to create the log design, as well as the position of the logo on the cap. To create an embroidered cap, manufacturers will use different techniques to be sure that the fit of the cap is exact. They will often use a hook and loop fastener, and an adjustable buck back closure. Fitted caps are come in small, medium, and large for different head sizes. If a person's head size is between 6” and 7”, a small cap would fit them perfectly. If their head size is larger than 7”, a large cap would be the perfect fit for them.

Most manufacturers of embroidered fitted caps use a conversion chart for fitted cap sizes. If the head size is 53 cm, the hat size would be 6 5/8”. Cap sizes increase for every cm increase in the size of the head. For a 64 cm head size, the cap size would be 8”. Manufacturers often suggest measuring a person's head with a tape measure exactly where the sweatband would be. This is the perfect fit for any cap, even if the size varies slightly.
