Embroidered Emblems
It is inexpensive and easy to have embroidered emblems sewn onto your garments and personal items. Many suppliers offer this service, either through a physical store or via an online shop. Going into an actual shop has the advantage of allowing you to look at the garments before you purchase them. You can also closely examine the emblems that the company has to offer in its database of stock emblems before deciding if there is a design that is right for your needs. Using a physical store has the advantage of a more “hands-on” shopping experience. However, it is also advantageous to purchase your garments customized with embroidered logos and emblems from an online manufacturer, because it is much easier to compare prices between suppliers and to view all of the items that are available for in-house embroidery.
Emblems are very popular designs to have embroidered onto a piece of clothing or a personal item such as a bag, baseball cap, shoes, socks, protective gear and so on. The range of emblems that customers might choose to have embroidered onto clothing or items is very extensive. Embroidered emblems might be related to recreational activities or they may be to do with the profession that the wearer is a part of.
Embroidered emblems can be purchased and affixed to clothing in two different ways. Firstly, you can choose to have the emblem embroidered directly onto the clothing. This is a good idea because it is fixed very tightly to the fabric of the garment itself and is very unlikely to come off. Secondly, you could have the design of the emblem made into an embroidered patch, which can then be attached to the garment using an iron, a heat seal or by embroidery. Patches have the added advantage of looking particularly 3D and exciting because they seem to “pop” out of the garment. They are more eye-catching than ordinary embroidery, but also more likely to come off – although methods for affixing them guarantee that you will get a great deal of wear and washing out of them before this happens.
Professionals in certain areas of work may have an emblem that is appropriate to their profession embroidered onto their garments. For example, officers in the police department often wear emblems that identify them as a member of the police forces. The emblem will be different depending on the country in which they are serving and the division of the police forces that they are working for. Members of the military services in many countries around the world are required to wear embroidered emblems that identify their rank and the division in which they service. The emblems might also bear the name of the military personnel.
Sports players often wear embroidered emblems on their uniforms to show which team they belong to, or as a way of showing support for their country, as a form of patriotism. The emblem might be of the team’s mascot or of the national flag or some other meaningful design. |
