Collegiate Apparel

If you go to a college and walk into the book store you will find that any type of collegiate apparel you might want from your college is going to be available.  In fact, most schools have such broad on line stores now that you could even order on line if you were too busy (or lazy) to go into the book store.  It is no secret that students like to wear their school colors.  You can see this simply by walking through a college campus and seeing how many of the students (and their family) have on the shirt, hats and sweats of the college they are attending.  It is a pride issue and the students take it pretty seriously.

If you were to look on line or in the stores for what is available for your school you will find that you have no less than twenty different tee shirts just to start out with.  These shirts usually will have the name (or the nickname –Fighting Irish for example) on the shirt.  The colors change from tee shirt to tee shirt but in most cases they find a way to work in the colors of the school (blue and gold for Notre dame).  Collegiate apparel is intended to advertise the pride in the school so the school name has to be on it somewhere or it defeats the purpose and isn’t collegiate anymore.

Baseball caps are huge among students and fans of any given college.  So when you look on line for collegiate apparel you will find as wide of a selection of hates as you do tee shirts.  They are not only varied in style but also in brand and design.  Baseball style caps are probably the most common but in cold weather climates you will find that knit caps are just a popular.  The name of the school will be on the hats somewhere to emphasize the school being represented.

There are many shorts and sweat pants that also can be found with collegiate apparel.  These often have the name of the college down on side or another in the case of the sweat pants and usually on the front of the shorts.  They are very popular with student athletes in particular but you can find these pretty easily too.  Additionally there are many dress clothes that you can find that will also be considered collegiate.

Jackets, polo shirts, long sleeve dress shirts, sweaters and vests are just a few of the dress clothes that you can find with collegiate apparel.  In all these cases again the name or the nickname of the school will be found.  Usually the name is on one side or another of the front of the shirt but in some cases it is across the entire front of the shirt.  Because it is a dressy piece of apparel the norm is to keep it small and professional.  There is no limit to what you can find for your respective school if you truly want to look.  College apparel is very popular and therefore very easy to locate in a number of different places beginning with the school itself.
