There are several ways and reasons to buy business shirts.  You may want to buy them at exclusive outlets that deal in all the latest top end brands. These will be signature shirts that are easily recognized by the fashion conscious.  You will get a lot of attention from these shirts. If they are the expected norm for your office then you will need to invest the extra money to stay with these well known shirts.  Even if your office is a notch below that, you may want to make the investment in order to stand out from the crowd.  The important thing is to think about what the customer expects.

Another way to buy business shirts is to get them from more reasonably priced retail outlets.  This may include going to chain stores and shopping well known brands that are a step below the designer shirts of the exclusive stores.  These shirts will look very similar to the designer shirts and only the true fashion police will be able to tell the difference. These shirts will usually not require dry cleaning and be able to be machine washed and either dried in the dryer or on the line.  This will also cut down on the expense of your business wardrobe.

Perhaps you are just starting out and need spend as little as possible when you buy business shirts.  There are bargain outlets that specialize in off brand shirts or discontinued lines. This may save you money in the short run, but realize these shirts will not wash and wear as well as the more expensive shirts. You may end up spending more money total replacing them more frequently than had you invested in better shirts in the first place. Another option when you buy business shirts is to try to buy them wholesale.  This is best accomplished by buying them in bulk. Large orders of 20 or more shirts will get you a better price, but only if you are dealing with a bulk seller or wholesaler.  Retail chains do not normally give bulk discounts unless it is a buy one get sale.  You will have to spend some time researching the best wholesaler to deal with.  If you cannot buy enough shirts yourself to get a discount, you may want to get several people at the office to go in on one order. Be sure to double check sizes and collect money ahead of time.
