Button Down Baseball Shirts

Button down shirts are not only used in the normal everyday capacity we think of. Although it is true that many business professionals use them, they are also used outside the professional world of business. Bankers, lawyers, doctors and many other professions use them. You will even see some teens wearing them. Even college students will wear button down shirts. As you see, many people wear button down shirts. How about athletes? One of the biggest sports you will see this in is baseball. All of the players, except maybe for trainers will wear button down baseball shirts. All shirts will carry the team logo.

With all button down baseball shirts, you will see two types of jerseys, home and away. Most home jerseys have the traditional colors of the team. With the away jerseys, most of them may be white. Some teams do not have white and will have one color for home and one color for away. In some cases the home jersey may be white and the away jersey may be in the team colors. It all depends on the team or what the other team decides to do. There have been times where a team decides to do a special promotion and choose a color based on the special occasion for which they are wearing the jersey for.

Not only are button down baseball shirts worn by the pros, they are also worn be college and high school teams as well. Typically, you will find the colors will be the same as the pros. They will have a home jersey and one for the road, same with high school teams.  One of the big differences though is that you will not see school teams wearing special promotion jerseys. Just about all of the time, they will wear uniforms based on the school colors.

Believe it or not, baseball teams are not the only ones to use button down baseball shirts. They are used by many companies and by other organizations in promoting certain items. Other sporting organizations have used the baseball shirt design as another way to sell shirts. Some of the fans of that sport may like the baseball design so they target that market as a way to sell shirts for their groups. You will also see that the baseball shirt design may be used by different companies for promoting certain products or services at different events. Many companies may go with a baseball theme and the shirts fit right in.

Just because you see baseball players wearing button down baseball shirts, does not mean they are the only group wearing them. Even though they are worn by baseball players of all levels, they can also be worn by the fans in the form of replica jerseys.  Many other groups and other organizations may also use the design as a way to promote a team, company or a specific event. It all depends on what use you have for the shirt and whether or not that style suits you need best. For baseball players, that style is the best option, of course.
