Business Tee Shirts
Business tee shirts are an inexpensive and fun way to promote a business, unify the look of a work force, and raise worker morale and customer awareness. Business tee shirts can be designed in a variety of ways depending on the image the business wants to portray. The shirt can be simple with just the company logo on the upper chest area. Another option is to add the worker’s name to the other chest area. This will add a small cost, but can be well worth it to give a personalized touch to the look. Customers will always remember the worker’s name and worker’s will never worry about forgetting to put on their name tags. This is important to them since most businesses give demerits of some kind for not being in uniform.
Other possibilities for the business tee shirt are the addition of artwork on the front and back of the shirt. For a different look, the company logo can be shown in a large image that goes across the entire front chest of the shirt. The worker’s name can still appear in one of the upper chest corners or in larger type across the back of the shirt in the upper back area. The artwork on the front should be camera ready art and bear the trademark symbol of the company. The colors and amount of detail is completely up to the company and the designer. If no camera ready art is available, the silk screener can design an original piece.
Remember, you will pay extra for the time and talent of the designer. Also, you will have to pay a screen fee for each color used on your business tee shirts. Every color is its own screen and has to be applied separately. This is a one -time fee added to the cost of the business tee shirts. For future orders of the same shirt, there is no fee for the screens. You will simply pay for the shirt and the printing. This makes it important that you choose a printer you can stay with so you don’t pay for new screens at a new printer every time you have to order new business tee shirts.
The front of the shirt does not have to be the focus of business tee shirts. The front may simply display the worker’s name or a small logo or image. The back of the shirt may be the focus of the design and offer a larger area to display whatever logo, artwork, or message the company desires.
The same rules apply regarding camera ready art, design, and screens as are applied to the front printing process of your business tee shirts. The only drawback to using the back is it is not the first thing the customer sees when approaching workers wearing business tee shirts. If that is not a concern for the business then either the front or back of your business tee shirts are fine to use for advertising or other purposes.
