Business dress shirts are the staple of every working person’s wardrobe.  These shirts need to be cared for in very particular ways.  They must be hung up neatly in the closet giving each one the room it needs to stay wrinkle free. Having air circulate around the clothes also helps keep stains from moisture gathering at the points of pressure and helps keep the shirts from smelling musty.  Most top quality shirts will need to be dry cleaned and pressed.  Be sure to hang them up immediately when you bring the dry cleaning home.  Many people keep the shirts in the plastic that they come back in to protect them from dust while they hang in the closet.

There are several choices for business dress shirts that were not available just a few years ago. White shirts only dominated the business world for many years. The best friend of business dress shirts is the tie.  Tie choices have also exploded over the years. No longer are you limited to the solid power tie. Many different patterns and colors can help give your business suit the updated look you have been looking for. Paisley patterns, diamonds, and asymmetrical patterns are perfectly acceptable in today’s office.  This gives the individual choices but also demands more wardrobe coordination.  It will be more difficult to jump up in the morning and just grab the next shirt and tie in line in the closet.  Some seriously hideous ensembles can be born this way.
